GOOD communication skills.

When I prospect that is one thing I listen for, someone who likes to talk, with a positive happy attitude.

Leadership is growth in many stages, you must be able to communicate your message, but you also must become the message. Speak with conviction, take possession of the message, deliver it with belief, and strength, empower people with your emotions not just your words.

Leaders are people who decide to become leaders, it is something you feel you already have, if you don’t, then work on your skills, take a leadership coarse. Doug Firebaugh of www.Passionfire.com has the best trainings on leadership I have ever heard, his audiotape series I have listened to over and over again.

In network marketing, we talk a lot about money, recruiting, products, companies, approach and follow-up, but we hardly ever talk about leadership skills. If a person is serious about this industry I would say the biggest work ahead of you is not on the above but on yourself and your leadership skills, once you understand your destiny and most important believe in your ability the rest just happens. Any occupation requires mindset and training in order for you to become effective in your position. This industry is no different, yet it is different than most would expect.
